The design philosophy of the Mazda CX-30 is called "charge and release." Imagine a single stroke of ink that starts from above the front tires, flows toward the back and release its energy. The result is a form that energizes the driver, even before they get behind the wheel.

DESIGN

STUNNING LED LIGHTING DESIGN

During the daytime, the CX-30 is characterized by the mechanical beauty of a precision instrument; while at night, the cylinders themselves light up to become solid masses of light that penetrate the front and back of the vehicle.

Sharp and bold look

Not only do we reduced the physical dimensions of the rear lamps, but we also used the resin panel on the rear gate to cover a portion of their circumference and make them look narrower than they actually are.

BEAUTY THROUGH SUBTRACTION

Contours that capture movement, even at a standstill. Simplified essential characteristics that embrace the Japanese philosophy of “LESS IS MORE.” This is the compelling evolution in our design aesthetic. Reflections of light across its surface create more complex and intriguing shapes. Poised and dignified, it beckons to be driven.

FINELY CRAFTED AROUND YOU

The CX-30's interior, with rich hues and textures, is a trademark of MAZDA's commitment to craftsmanship: TAKUMI. The elegant dash line wraps seamlessly into the main cabin and creates a space that's inclusive and inviting to all.

While realizing a user-friendly compact SUV body size, the Mazda CX-30 cabin was also meticulously designed to offer an interior space that seated four adults and was comfortable and pleasant on even the longest drives.

One-Touch luggage space

With a luggage capacity of 430L*, the CX-30 is big enough to hold a large global-standard stroller as well as a carry-on bag. And the lower trunk beneath the floor is available for storing dirty outdoor gear or car cleaning tools, etc.


And we have included a power liftgate allowing one-touch opening and closing at ease.

360 VIEW MONITOR

The 360° View Monitor activates at speed under 15 km/h and can be operated with the MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment system. The system uses cameras on the four sides of the vehicle to help detecting objects nearby, minimizing blind spots and avoiding potential danger.

Multiple views are available, including: Normal Front, Wide Front, Side, Normal Rear, Wide Rear and Top Down.

Active Driving Display

We have organized all information and controls to provide a safe and stress-free driving environment that helps drivers feel more at ease while driving, enabling them to naturally focus on the road.

Active information such as speed, warning signs that needs to stay at the forefront of the driver’s mind is shown on the Active Driving Display.

Smart City Brake Support [Forward]

Helps the driver avoid frontal collisions while driving at the slow speeds common in urban areas or congested traffic.

Smart City Brake Support [Rear]

Uses two ultrasonic sensors mounted on the bumper to keep track of obstacles when reversing at low speeds (approximately 2-8 km/h). If there is a risk of collision the system applies the brakes automatically, minimizing damage resulting from any impact.

Cruising & Traffic Support

CTS can assist with driver fatigue by automatically operating the accelerator and brake pedals to maintain a proper trailing distance between you and the vehicle ahead.

In addition, the system assists with steering to keep the car in its proper lane, supporting a safer, more comfortable driving experience.

Mazda Radar Cruise Control

MRCC uses a wave radar to judge the relative speed and distance to the car ahead and automatically controls vehicle speed.

 

Working within a set speed range, MRCC automatically adjusts and maintains a safe following distance from the car in front, thus relieving some of the burden of the driver on long drives and on highways.

Lane-keep Assist System

LAS uses a windshield-mounted camera to recognize lane-markings on the road and helps to promote safer driving by providing appropriate steering assistance.

Lane Departure Warning System

Detects line marking on the road surface and warns the driver of unintentional lane departures. This system is particularly effective in situations where the road is continuously straight and drivers have a tendency to not pay sufficient attention to the road.

When the lane change is accompanied by turn signal operation or acceleration, the system recognizes the maneuver as intentional and does not sound an alarm.
